Via Uno's Summer 2010 brings the versatility of styles
in trends that make the most of women's most fashionable and most casual side.
This Via Uno's Summer 2010, the collection depicts the choice of Via Uno
products by revealing one's personality in that which best suits the
contemporary woman's taste and nature.
Colors go through a revolution of light earth tones
like sand and almond, kicking it up a notch to beige and chestnut. The
supremacy of black unveils itself in the variety of textures giving out a
slight shimmer, animal prints, and its coming together with sweet hues and
pastel shades of pink, mint and sky blue.
The appreciation of leather is seen in the demand for
new items that every woman seeks and in trends that point to burnt leather,
favoring Abrasivato, soft nappas like Verona, Napoli and Garda, and the
diversity of Animal print leather. Incidentally, such animal print leather may
be shiny like Croco Natur or the novelty of opaque, washed leather like Washed
Snake.
The trends point toward a mix of styles and diverse
models that range from casual flats all the way to the exuberant, sophisticated
high-heeled half-platform sandals.
The essence of this trend brings ethnic elements that
evoke earth tones, animal prints and especially any and all embroidery, braided
item or accent with a touch of the Afro ethnicity. The safari look is
incorporated in earth tones, white, buff, and dashes of color like yellow or
coral. This trend's highlight is the over-the-top, glamorous rustic look,
something that becomes cool in our flats featuring embroideries or stones, and
in the countless half-platform sandals. Here we see the combination of current,
modern safari and its ethnic roots.
Details and delicate accents are at the core of this
trend. Lightness, volume, and folded, draped, and pleated elements are the
signature look of extremely feminine women. Pastel shades, especially the
palette of pink, mint and sky blue, are the basis for ruffled peep toes and bows
with their shiny textures that adhere perfectly to looks featuring
transparencies and lace.
This trend plays up all the intensity of colorful,
dotted and striped items. A burst of bold, striking colors paired with graphic
elements that further enhance their tones. Sneakers and ballet flats are
typical products of this trend, as are abstract B&W floral prints, giving
rise to a certain 1960's-like irreverence.
The Resort trend draws inspiration from the high
season at high-end seaside hotels. It is the trend of high summer. Speedboats,
yachts, decks, lots of sea and sun. Colorful stripes and prints, loads of
white, silver and gold. Flats, slides, geometric print fabrics are a hit,
combined with metal accents that give the season its luxury feel.
